Detroit native Evelyn Ackerman founded ERA Industries in 1956 with her husband, Jerome. For 50 years, the Los Angeles-based couple played a central role in shaping the California midcentury modern movement. Presented in collaboration with Ackerman Modern, the designs in this collection are a reimagining of the couple's iconic midcentury designs using original sketches and archival photographs.
