Draw attention to the solid concrete top with a tablecloth or table runner in natural, lightweight fabrics, such as linen and jute. Similarly, accent cement coffee tables with table trays in jewel tones pastels to create a modern mix of unexpected hues. Get creative and use concrete pedestal tables as ultra-urban plant stands. Ivy, vines and other draping houseplants look naturally chic wrapped around a sound cement base. You can maintain the appearance of many cement tables with floor wax or stone floor polish.
